This is my first recording playing the AE Modular ever. I got a bunch of new modules last week, and I've been playing around. Here I'm sequencing with SEQ16 and clocking and triggering with MM-DIV. The sound comes from the GRAINS module patched through the LOPAG on one side, and WASPFILTER > enveloped VCA > MULTIFX (Flanger) on the other. Through some kick in the background which is heard first. I accidentally got a blues-brotherly groove which I think sounds great with the heavily distorted sound of the filtered grains. I also like very much the sound of the grains through the enveloped Wasp filter with a very short decay. Kinda a marimbish. I love it.

Well done, this is a really nice groove! I'm still waiting for my Grains ... it was on of the first modules I built for my now long abandoned Eurorack system.

To be honest, I'm not sure what it does. Seems to granulate a sample. Is there a repo of the code that comes with it? I'd love to take a peak at it before uploading my own.

Already downloaded it. Do you know which one comes uploaded in the module?

I would assume that the original grainsV21 code is loaded by default.
