blackwarriorlures.com/biomechbabyshipheartbeat2020-03-05/This is the heartbeat of a biomechanoid space ship growing in an incubation chamber. If you listen, you'll slowly experience the ship entering a dream state. The regulators have to work overtime to keep the baby ship calm in order to prevent it from blowing up the ship yard.

This is exactly what I love about modular synthesis - anyone can just express themselves however they want, free from norms, "musical" theory, scales or even "harmony". Just patch things into other things and discover the story in the sound that happens.
Great Stuff!

I was definitely feeling tense, anxious and worrying about this baby chip while listening to this . You got your world! Really nice!

Nice atmosphere. Did you use any external processing or is this just the AE modular?

Hey, did you ever see the TV series, Farscape? A lot of it takes place on a biomechanoid ship and the ambient sounds are a mixture of electronic and digestive. It was done by Jim Henson's creatureworks so lots of great aliens.

Yeah, I've seen Farscape a couple times through.

Yeah, I've seen Farscape a couple times through. Nearly time to introduce my 12-year-old boy to Farscape. Maybe I'll start with Firefly. (I reckon The Expanse might be too adult for him).
