Music created using AE Modular with Qu-Bit Nebulae and Flame 4VOX Eurorack modules I used two MULTIFX and I linked the Eurorack modules using the RACKLINK I only used the AE Modular 4I/O modules. There is quite a lot of "hiss" ...
The samples used in the Nebulae are from the Ligeti Requiem and the Mahler 5th Symphony Adagietto
It has been recorded live on 2 tracks.

Cool sound scapes!!! Was the hiss a desired effect or did something go wrong with patching or recording? I think it fits in there quite well musically

It was undesired and I tried to attenuate it a little bit while doing a light mastering before publishing.
But you are right : it fits quite well the mood of the music

Do you know what caused it?

As I would like to publish this piece of music with a better quality, I will have to investigate.
I'll let you know as soon as I find the source of the hiss.

I love this piece! It's great to see the AE system being blended in to a melodical soundscape like this. I also really love the view from your window :-)
