I now introduce the newly opened repository of alternative firmwares for the AE GRAINS module: github.com/aemodular/GRAINSMathias aka visuellemusik has been hard at work coding a variety of new firmwares and has offered these to the community to explore, study and to be used as basis for your own creations! This code repository is open to anyone, so please let me know if you have developed your own firmware or even just a variation on the existing ones and I'm happy to work with you to put it into this repository. I have tried to hold off on making public so that I have time to make tutorial videos for each of the codes, but Mathias is just so amazingly fast in uploading new and exciting new firmwares, I can't keep up! So here are the two first videos with more to come over the next few days. Overall I'm really excited about Mathias work and I hope that this is the beginning of a flood of new firmwares. Please read the source code to learn how to program GRAINS, Mathis has documented it really well! This first video explains how to install the firmware and also how to use the ByteBeat-Xfade code which is a kind of Algodrone, but one that you can change yourself! In this second video I explain how to use the SpellOrSpeak firmware.
