Hi folks!
This is pretty much my first post here on the forums - I've started building up an AE rack over the last week or so, with more parts on order (very excited!)
Anyway, I thought I'd pop a little demo on here from some early noodling with my little rack so far... the bass and arpy parts have been previously recorded. The lead part is being played in realtime from MIDI sequenced in Reaper.
Looking forward to checking out all the other music here, and getting to know the community!

Nice track, almost a little "folky" with the tin whistle like lead.
Me likes!

Thanks for having a listen Mikael! The lead sound took a bit of time to get right - not sure it quite comes across in the video but lots more time to experiment

Welcome to the community and excellent first (posted) patch!! Sounding great and I'm excited to see where the AEM journey takes you! thanks for the warm welcome! I've been busy adding to my system today and I've already spent a LOT longer than intended noodling around so there will be plenty more where that came from...

Wow! This is very impressive. Thanks! Can't get enough of synth-noodling at the mo, already building up an archive of recordings for use in future projects!

Here's another little noodle I worked on the other day whilst testing out some of the ways in which I can control the Solina module! I've been LOVING it so far, especially being able to control chord inversions etc in realtime. Yum. In this vid I was changing the pitch via my controller keyboard, with the SEQ16 managing gate and filter frequency. I recorded the lead part live afterwards.

Lovely to hear this!
I have not gone further than ankle-deep with the solina yet but it is so much fun!

Thanks Slowscape / Rodney! Yeah it's a really fun module when you start getting all those CVs moving, and I think it could be quite an inspirational composition tool too.

I hear NEU and LA Düsseldorf here, really nice. Make it longer :-) Mikael / MikMo thanks Mikael! All the 'jams' I've been having lately are all fairly short, but I think over time they will get longer when I introduce more variation

That's the part I've been struggling with lately as well (well, I don't know that you are struggling, but I am!)

That's the part I've been struggling with lately as well (well, I don't know that you are struggling, but I am!) I'm really into evolving sounds and drones, so my first port of call for variation in patches is always modulation, two offset sinewave LFO's are a good place to start, so they're creating asynchronous type 'loops' of modulation
