North of 7000 subscribers! Clearly some people are getting it.
Each one is a little mini adventure and a glimpse of a part of the USA we outsiders don't get to see much of - not the city, not the wilderness, not the farm, but the places in-between where real life continues to happen.
Like I said elsewhere, I really miss living close to a river like I did as a kid. Mum and Dad's place in Tasmania ran downhill onto a strip of 'crown land' (owned by the state on behalf of the queen of england - sounds crazy now I write that) that fronted on the Tamar estuary. So, lots of saltwater fishing and messing around in boats. I fished off the little pontoon jetty out front as a kid and as a teenager. We don't own the place anymore but a couple of my brothers and I kept the lease on a small boatshed (not big enough to sleep in, unfortunately).
but back to your videos. It evokes strong memories but also gives that sense of another world you enter when you go fishing - or even plan to go fishing.
... and then there's synthesizers
