One question...does this have CV constraint so that you can't go outside the 0-5V limits? It would seem that it might be an issue with phase reinforcement if you're mixing oscillating modulation signals.

Interested in this one but I'm not sure if I understand it properly! Can you use this to mix audio levels using CV or have I misunderstood it?

I think this module is more for mixing CV signals, like mixing different rate LFOs for crazy variations. I'll play around with it this week and hope to get a video up on the weekend.

If you do get time that would be great, thanks.
Your videos, and those of TTNM, are what sold me on AE Modular by the way. Very good work.

Thanks! You can use the module for audio mixing as well, but as Careck wrote, it really shines when mixing CV. It’s kind of a mandatory module for modular synth fun in medium to large systems in my opinion though, because as soon as you have it, you realize that your LFOs and other modulation sources were quite boring on their own ;-)

Having more interesting, and potentially chaotic modulation sources is something I am looking for. I am still interested in a mixer module that allows you to change audio signal volumes for each audio in/out. Does such a module exist yet? Will add it to the module suggestion thread if not.

Do you mean a voltage controlled audio mixer? If so, that’s just a VCA for each mixer channel. You simply patch your audio through a VCA and from there into the mixer. After the mixer you can add another VCA for the main volume.

Filmed a short demo video for the POLAMIX, which also applies to the 2CVTOOL:
Key takeaways: - It inverts input signals around 2.5V - The mix output is offset - It's DC-coupled, so you can patch slow, or even static, CV into the mix to offset it - Because it's clipping above 5V and below 0V you can use it as a simple waveshaper/clipper for audio too (this is safe)
