After seeing my first modular in an early 1980's Roland product brochure (System 100 I recall), and many years thereafter of pondering a modular system, today I finally made my very first 'sound'....what a glorious racket. Lots to learn but the first step on what I hope will be a fascinating journey. Thanks to Robert and the team to a fantastic, affordable, and sonically rich product.
Onwards!

Aaaah we all know the feeling when you hear that first sound and we fully understand the limitless ability of these little machines!
EDIT: Quick tip/note, there are two ways to make your recorded sound stereo, You can get a mono to stereo adapter, or you can do it in post in the free program called audacity.

Thank you both, and thanks for the hint Slowscape. This was actually recorded by burying my phone mic into the headphones shell - doesn't sound too bad as a result but better quality once I get it plumbed into the system properly.
More discoveries to be made next week.

Hi, check out my video on how to record your AE Modular, I hope that will give you some ideas on how to proceed:
