AEModular patchwire-compatible SIL sockets

I'm sure I posted this somewhere, but I can't remember where!
I found some SIL pin sockets which are compatible with the AEModular patchwires from 'Preci-Dip', they fit the AEModular patch wires perfectly but they are only 7mm high (AEModular headers are taller).
I bought them from RS in the UK, but they are available elsewhere I am sure: Here is the link to RS
Really, the pins are a little short for reliable connection to a breadboard (they like to pop out of the board!), so it's probably best to make up an adaptor like this using a straight pin header:
Lower profile ones are also available, perhaps more widely?
