Anybody have experience with Arduino and digital potentiometers? I found a few digipots floating around i my considerable component stash and got the idea to make a VC panner with an Arduino and two digipots. It's kind of working but i have all kinds of hum and noise. I have of course common ground between the AE and the Arduino setup. First i tried a simple panning algorithm without VC and it works, but i can hear "zipper noise" when changing the digipots value. Then i added VC and i got a lot of hum / noise that fluctuate with the LFO i used for the CV input, the faster the LFO the louder the noise. So i obviously need more than just the Ardino and the digipots, or maybee digipots are not suited for the task at hand? I used MCP4100 pots.
